100 word challenge

School was boring, as usual. We all rushed to the door excited to get out but when we reached the doors there was a big, ugly, hungry monster storming through the doors. As it came towards us we all ran down the hall. The teachers ran out of all the classrooms and started to grab all of us. Their eyes had gone red. I saw one student wiggle free from a teacher but then was court by another teacher who bit this neck. His eyes turned red in an instant and then one by one we were picked off, until I was the only one.

hopefully this isn’t something you worry might come true at MPPS!
We teachers can get a little annoying, but we generally draw the line at biting children’s necks.
I love the fun you have with this fast-paced, fun piece.
Look out for homophones when you are spelling (court/caught), and a suggestion I have for you over the next few weeks is to try and write in 3rd person. Almost all your 100 word challenge narratives have been in 1st person. give it a try to stretch yourself.
    keep up the great work,

    Hi Lilly,
I really like this 100 WC because it leaves the reader with something to think about.
