Semester 1 Goals

What I want to learn:

This semester I want to learn I want to focuses on my spelling bigger and more descriptive words. This is because it will improve my writing and make it more interesting. I also want to focuses on my reflections. My reflections are not as detailed as I would like to be and would like to learn ways to help express my thinking. Another goal I have is to   become more confident with my public speaking. This is because I think it is a very important skill to have and it will help improve me and a leader. Usually when I public speak I get really nervous and start to speak really quickly. In maths I would like to improve on my mental maths. I think being able to do that will help with my time management and I will be able to finish all of the tasks. In reading I will like to read different genre like romance and historical fiction.

List examples of things I could do that would show I am trying to meet my goal:

A way I could achieve my goals is to ask my mum for some more challenging books practice the goals I      set. Do some extra homework when time.

How I learn and behave:

The behaviour goals I set for this semester is to always come into class with a positive attitude. I think this is an important goal to have because it makes the class more positive and I will enjoy lessons more. I also want to make sure that I express my ideas and have a go at them. I also when working in a in a group to make sure I don’t take over and let other people have a go but to step in if needed. I think giving other people a go is a good goal for me because it will help other people give their ideas and become more of a leader. I think I have developed my leadership skills already and that I can help other people with their.

List examples of things I could do that would show I am trying to meet my goal:

Some skills I could do are to remember what my goals are and to make sure that whenever in a group to step and let other people have the chance. I could also become more enthusiastic about topics I’m not that interested in.
